Spicer and Wood was founded in 2017 after moving into my first flat in Stoke Newington and becoming obsessed with interiors and spending a small fortune on candle stick holders.

From a young age I've always loved selling things. As a young teenager I sold plants at the end of the drive and whilst at university set up a vintage clothing store. After graduating and working in the interior world for several years, I got the itch again and Spicer and Wood was born.

Named after my great great grandad who coincidentally also lived in Stoke Newington and ran his own business as a grainer and painter.

Initially a side project for the first few years, I finally went full time with the business in April 2021.
